Born in Vicenza, Italy, he began his career in Industrial Design in 1990, collaborating as an art director with renowned Italian and international furniture companies. He designed the Italian Pavilion for the International Furniture Fair in Cologne (1992-1993) and the Interieur fair in Vienna (1992). His work has been exhibited at MoMA in New York, and he received several awards, including the Du Pont awards in Cologne and the Interior Innovation Award in 2012 for "Bookless" by Interlübke. In 1999, he founded Studio28 GinoCarollo, focusing on product design linked to engineering, models, and prototypes.
